About the event

We are so excited to see our community get behind such an event and help support our very own Agricultural Show. A day for everyone. We are so excited to support the entrants in this amazing and rewarding journey.
The Queensland Country Life Showgirl program aims to recognise, develop and celebrate young female leaders in our communities. The Showgirl Awards allows agricultural shows to engage young women in their communities to develop their leadership skills and confidence to continue their involvement in, and representation of their agricultural show.
The Rural Ambassador Award is a National Competition that highlights and celebrates young people who have a genuine interest in rural and regional Australia or New Zealand. The Award aims to provide an opportunity for these candidates to promote rural communities and industries, as well as to be involved in promoting the importance of agriculture and food production.
